Consultancy services

An application was received from a consultancy business, for assistance in retrieving payment of their unpaid invoices from a larger company. Once all the facts had been considered, the Office of Small Business Commissioner (OSBC) wrote out to the larger company advising we had received communications evidencing the outstanding invoices, requesting their comments and reasons for non-payment. After further communication between the OSBC and the larger company, payment of the full amount of the outstanding invoices was made to the consultancy business.
