The Office of the Small Business Commissioner (OSBC) has launched a new ‘Get the Money Moving’ webinar series.
The series will see Small Business Commissioner, Emma Jones CBE, interview high profile guests on topics ranging from how they are implementing fair payment practices in their own businesses, through to views and moves to build a positive payment culture across the UK.
The first episode went live on 2 March 2026, with Jambu Palaniappan, CEO of Checkatrade. Jambu and Emma discussed Jambu’s career journey, the value of digital tools to small businesses, and how to reduce the risk of late payments.
A new webinar published each month until end of the year, with future guests including:
- Ashley Armstrong, UK Business Editor, FT
- Richard Davies, CEO, Allica Bank
- Cas Paton, Founder, OnBuy
All webinars will be posted on the Office’s website, and webinars will be free to watch on YouTube. The webinars topics range from macro-economic views and the future of AI to practical how-to tips on getting paid and keep your money moving.
