More small businesses are building an online presence or launching online-based initiatives, creating greater web traffic and new opportunities to boost revenue. However, with increased traffic comes increased risk. Cyber crime is a growing threat, and small businesses are often the most vulnerable.

The latest Cyber Security Breaches Survey conducted by the Home Office and the Department for Science, Innovation and Technology (DSIT) found that 1 in 4 small businesses have experienced cyber crime in the last year.

To help, the National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC) have created a free cyber toolkit to help small businesses protect themselves from online threats.
