2026 is the first year where the Fair Payment Code awardees will be asked to renew their award.

If your award reads ‘Until 2026’, a member of the Fair Payment Code team will contact you in the Autumn asking you to email your application form and evidence to enable us to renew your award.

Based on the evidence you’re able to provide, you may wish to move to a different tier.

As evidence requirements may have changed since you first joined the code, please ensure you carefully read the requirements in the Guidance and utilise the evidence checklist (which will be sent to you with your application form) in preparation for receiving your renewal.

If a new contact in the business is going to be working with the Fair Payment Code team on the renewal application and you haven’t already let us know, please email fpc@smallbusinesscommissioner.gov.uk so we can update our records and ensure the process is as smooth as possible.
